Effective Date: June 14, 2026
PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY. This policy describes how Dreamcraft S.R.L. ("Matrix Numerology", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our website located at https://matrix-numerology.life (the "Website") and our Matrix Numerology mobile applications available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (the "Apps"), along with any related services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service https://matrix-numerology.life/terms.html.
1. Data Controller
For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant data protection laws, the data controller is:
Dreamcraft S.R.L.
Str. A. Vlahuță, Bloc Lama A, Ap. 70
400310 Cluj-Napoca

Email: legal@matrix-numerology.life
2. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve our Services. The types of information we collect include:
2.1. Information You Provide Directly
- Information for Calculations & Account: To use the core features of the Services and create an account, we collect your Username, full Date of Birth, and general Location (e.g., city/country). This information is essential for performing the numerological calculations (like Life Path Number, Destiny Number) that are central to the Services and for identifying your profile.
- Account Authentication (Sign in with Google): If you choose to create an account or sign in using Google Sign-In, Google shares with us basic profile information associated with your Google account, namely your name, email address, and a Google account identifier. We use this information solely to create and authenticate your account. We do not receive your Google password. Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's own privacy policy.
- Contact Information: If you contact us for support or inquiries (at support@matrix-numerology.life or legal@matrix-numerology.life), we may collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.
- Pre-Launch Signup: If you signed up for pre-launch notifications via our website before launch, we collected your email address solely for the purpose of notifying you about the launch.
2.2. Information Collected Automatically (Analytics)
When you use our Services, we automatically collect certain information to understand how our Services are used and to enhance user experience. This may include:
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Services, such as features used, calculations performed, pages visited (on the website), screens viewed (in the Apps), time spent on features, interaction patterns, and crash reports.
- Device Information: Information about the device you use to access the Services, such as device type (e.g., iPhone, Android phone), operating system version, unique device identifiers (like IDFA or Android Advertising ID, where applicable and permitted), IP address, browser type (for website access), and mobile network information.
- Location Information (General): We infer your general geographic location (e.g., country, city) based on your IP address for analytics purposes and to potentially customize content. This is separate from the specific location you provide for calculations.
In the Apps, this analytics data is collected through PostHog, our product-analytics provider (see Section 5). The analytics data we send to PostHog is limited to a pseudonymous, non-reversible user identifier together with non-identifying usage and device signals; we do not transmit your Date of Birth or other directly identifying calculation inputs to PostHog. Our subscription provider, Adapty, also processes limited analytics relating to purchases, paywalls, and subscription status. On the Website, analytics are likewise collected through PostHog and only after you consent via the cookie banner. Analytics data may be aggregated or pseudonymized.
You can disable analytics collection in the Apps at any time using the "Help Improve the App" toggle in the app settings. When this setting is off, analytics events are not collected and our analytics providers are opted out.
2.3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
When you use our Website, we use cookies (small text files placed on your device) and similar tracking technologies (like pixels or web beacons) to collect information automatically, facilitate website functionality, and gather analytics data. The Apps may use similar technologies like SDKs (Software Development Kits) for analytics and functionality. For more details, see Section 10.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described above depends on the information concerned and the specific context:
- Performance of a Contract: We process your Username, Date of Birth, and Location primarily because it is necessary to perform the core Service you requested – providing personalized numerology calculations and readings associated with your account.
- Legitimate Interests: We process Usage Data, Device Information, and general Location Information based on our legitimate interests in understanding how our Services are used, improving user experience, maintaining security, and ensuring the stability and functionality of our Services, provided these interests are not overridden by your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.
- Consent: We will obtain your consent for certain processing activities where required by law, such as potentially for sending direct marketing communications or using certain types of cookies/tracking technologies that are not strictly necessary (like those covered by the cookie banner). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Legal Obligation: We may process your information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
- Perform the requested numerology calculations and generate personalized readings and insights linked to your username/account.
- Create and manage user accounts.
- Analyze usage patterns and trends to understand how the Services are used and enhance user experience (via PostHog and, for subscription-related events, Adapty).
- Respond to your comments, questions, and requests, and provide customer support via support@matrix-numerology.life.
- Communicate with you about the Services, including sending service-related notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.
- Ensure the security and integrity of our Services.
- Enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We share information with third-party vendors, consultants, and other service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as:
- Website and data hosting (AWS, Netlify).
- Analytics provider (PostHog).
- Account authentication (Google, via Google Sign-In).
- Subscription management and in-app purchase processing (Adapty, together with Apple and Google, who process payments for purchases made through their respective app stores).
- Cloud storage and customer support tools.
These providers only have access to the information necessary to perform their functions and are obligated to protect your information.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, prevent fraud, act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users or the public, or protect against legal liability.
- Business Transfers: In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements.
- Aggregated or Anonymized Data: We may share aggregated or anonymized information that does not directly identify you for research, reporting, or other purposes.
- With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties when we have your explicit consent to do so.
6. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the country in which you are resident, including the United States, where Dreamcraft S.R.L. and/or many of our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country.
If we transfer your personal information subject to GDPR outside the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we will take appropriate safeguards to ensure your information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. These safeguards may include relying on an EU Commission Adequacy Decision or implementing Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with the third party receiving the data.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a Service you have requested via your active account, or to comply with applicable legal, tax, or accounting requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information (e.g., upon account deletion initiated by you or after prolonged inactivity subject to our data retention schedule), we will either delete or anonymize it. If this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
Specifically for calculation data (Username, DOB, Location): We retain this as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion or a valid erasure request, we will delete this data, subject to backup cycles and legal retention requirements.
Analytics data is typically retained in an aggregated or pseudonymized form for longer periods to allow for trend analysis but is periodically reviewed and pruned.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the security of the personal information we process. We use measures like encryption (where appropriate), access controls, and secure hosting environments (AWS, Netlify). However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data transmitted through the Services.
9. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR & Similar Laws)
If you are a resident of the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or certain other jurisdictions (like California under CCPA/CPRA), you have the following data protection rights:
- Right to Access: You have the right to request copies of your personal information.
- Right to Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate or complete information you believe is incomplete.
- Right to Erasure ('Right to be Forgotten'): You have the right to request that we erase your personal information, under certain conditions.
- Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal information, under certain conditions.
- Right to Object to Processing: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal information based on legitimate interests, under certain conditions.
- Right to Data Portability: You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected about you (specifically data you provided or observed data related to your use) to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
- Right to Withdraw Consent / Opt Out of Analytics: If we process your information based on your consent (e.g., for non-essential cookies after you click "Accept" on the Website), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. In the Apps, you can opt out of analytics collection at any time using the "Help Improve the App" toggle in the app settings.
- Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (data protection authority) in your jurisdiction if you believe our processing of your personal information infringes applicable law.
How to Exercise Your Rights: To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at legal@matrix-numerology.life. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable data protection laws. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on our Website and potentially within our Apps:
- Strictly Necessary: Required for the basic operation of the Services (e.g., session management, security).
- Analytics/Performance: Help us understand how users interact with the Services (e.g., PostHog cookies/SDKs) to improve performance. On the Website these are only activated after you accept via the cookie banner; in the Apps they are governed by the "Help Improve the App" setting.
- Functionality: Remember your preferences or settings.
You can typically manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Services. As we primarily use standard analytics and functionality cookies covered by the consent banner, we do not currently maintain a separate detailed Cookie Policy.
11. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16 (or the relevant minimum age for data processing consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the minimum age, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
12. Data Protection Officer (DPO)
Dreamcraft S.R.L. is not legally required to appoint a formal Data Protection Officer under GDPR Article 37. For any data protection inquiries or concerns, please contact our legal team at legal@matrix-numerology.life.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to changing legal, technical, or business developments. When we update our Privacy Policy, we will take appropriate measures to inform you, consistent with the significance of the changes we make (e.g., by updating the "Effective Date" and potentially providing notice within the App or via email for material changes). We will obtain your consent to any material Privacy Policy changes if and where this is required by applicable data protection laws.
You can see when this Privacy Policy was last updated by checking the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
